Vacations at Punta Cana

Situated in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana offers an excellent place for sightseeing. You can be assured of a luxurious and adventurous vacation at Punta Cana. The place is literally a paradise on earth with lush green beauty and elegant weather. It is well known for its beaches and has been a famous tourist destination since the 70s.

It is an ideal place for golf vacations too. Punta Cana has got 12 golf courses that have been endorsed by some of the famous designers who specialize in golf courses like Jack Nicklaus, P.B. Dye, Tom Fazio, Nick Faldo and Nick Price. It has some high quality golf courses making it the golf Mecca of the Caribbean. Even the nightlife is mind blowing. Punta Cana has some premium quality discotheques along with 80+ restaurants and bars, with foreign delicacies from countries like China, India and Thailand.

While you are at Punta Cana you can visit Manatí Park which is a very famous waterpark that was built in the 90s. Punta Cana Shopping Village, the Cap Cana 500+ docks Marina and Palma Real Shopping Village at Bávaro are some of the other spots which you should not miss out on.

Along the coast, Punta Cana-Bavaro has as many as 22 diving sites, with all round the year rent services in addition to catamaran party boats, fishing yachts and speed boats. One of the most admired tours is to Saona Island (real Taino name is Adamanai) which is situated about 100 kilometers west, which is popular for scuba diving.

Visitors to the Punta Cana-Bavaro County will love to visit the Basilica Catholic Monument in Higuey which is a very old capital of the Province. The monument was built in 1962 and was designed by two French Architects.

To sum it up you can really enjoy a Punta Cana Caribbean vacation at reasonable costs. The county which has twenty-five miles of white sand, swaying coconut trees and more than 35 resorts is really a heaven on earth.
